During production I was responsible for camera operation on location and interview shoots, filming with Sony F5, Sony A7, DJI Pocket 2 gimbal. I also assisted with multiple lighting and radio mic setups. I collaborated with a producer to organise night shoots in Soho and Brixton.
Sexsomnia: Case Closed is an award-winning BBC documentary. I headed up post-production – lead editing, providing motion graphics, initial sound design and music supervision.
The documentary follows the remarkable story of Jade, whose rape case was dropped after defence lawyers claimed she had an episode of ‘sexsomnia’. It documents her fight for justice and highlights the difficult and traumatic experiences that victims of rape can face in reporting their crime.
